In attendance are Mick Jagger and Charlie Watts of the Rolling Stones as well as members of Franklin's family and the local congregation and community who worship alongside her.

Will the event be cancelled due to inclement weather?

In the event of inclement weather, The District Detroit staff will cancel that evening’s showing by noon, and make the announcement on the District Detroit's social media channels.

Can I bring my purse, bag, or a cooler?

Coolers are not permitted for this event. 

Little Caesars Arena also prohibits items such as bags, backpacks, and briefcases larger than 14" x 14" x 6" from entering the arena. Hard-sided bags of any kind are also prohibited. Diaper bags and medical bags are permitted. All persons and bags exiting or entering the arena will be subject to inspection. While the bag policy is usually consistent for all events, it is subject to change.

Can I bring outside food or drinks?

Unopened bottled water is permitted, but all other food and beverage items will not be allowed into Chevy Plaza. Alcohol is prohibited. Local food trucks will be on-site offering a range of food and beverage options.

For the comfort and safety of our guests, Chevy Plaza is a non-smoking area, including e-cigarettes.
