Fans Invited to Join Second Annual Jack Daniel's Season Opening Party at Little Caesars Arena As Part of Tigers Home Opener on Thursday, April 4

Free outdoor activities will be open from 8 a.m. until the conclusion of the Tigers’ home opener, prior to the 7:30 p.m. Muse concert at Little Caesars Arena

All four Little Caesars Arena restaurants will open with food and beverage specials throughout the day

Comerica Park gates open at 11 a.m. ahead of 1:10 p.m. first pitch

DETROIT – The Ilitch organization today announced that fans are invited to join the second annual Jack Daniel’s Season Opening Party on the exterior of the award-winning Little Caesars Arena in The District Detroit ahead of the Detroit Tigers home opener at Comerica Park on Thursday, April 4. Access to the festival is free, open to the public and available for fans of all ages.

The celebration will take place outside the Comerica Entrance at Little Caesars Arena. Activities will be open from 8 a.m. until the conclusion of the Tigers vs. Kansas City Royals game, when the area will be cleared for the 7:30 p.m. Muse concert. 

The Tigers home opener will be shown on the televisions in all four of the Little Caesars Arena’s restaurants: Mike’s Pizza Bar, Sports & Social Detroit, District Market and Kid Rock’s Made in Detroit.

Alcoholic beverages, including signature Jack Daniel’s mixed drinks, will be available for purchase outside the Comerica Entrance of Little Caesars Arena, and catered menu items from Mike’s Pizza Bar and Sports & Social Detroit will be sold. To ensure the safety and enjoyment of all attendees, staff will be in place to check IDs and provide wristbands for fans who are at least 21 years of age.

First pitch between the Tigers and Royals is set for 1:10 p.m. on Thursday, April 4. Gates open at 11 a.m., and fans are encouraged to enter the ballpark early. For Tigers Home Opener ticket information fans can log on to tigers.com or call 866-66-tiger.

A wide range of activities, including music, interactive games, Red Wings, Tigers and Pistons promotions, alumni autograph signings, and much more, will be announced the week of the event. Available in the App Store and Google Play Store, fans can secure parking in advance at any of the Olympia Development-managed parking lots and even find the best route to parking lots and venues.
